ROTAKIDS

RotaKids is a Growing Group
Rotary Clubs charter RotaKids Clubs in elementary schools to stay aware of contemporary challenges facing our children. The first RotaKids Club was formed by Jane Mills, a retired 30 year elementary teacher, 15 yr master teacher. She is in her 9th year as D6930 RotaKids Chair. Through RotaKids, Rotary helps children build self-esteem and teaches them the value of service to others.

Here is the official mascot of the JBE RotaKids Clubs. And he has almost perfect attendance at our meetings. He is a fine young boy and quite an artist. Next year he will become a RotaKid

Christmas Tree trimming by the grade 3 RotaKids is on RK G3 Pg1-2-& 3 You guys did a great job. The tree is beautiful.

This week we all had to take the FCAT exams. Sitting all day is very hard for RotaKids as we have a lot of energy. So Mrs. Mills suggested that we put on rubber gloves, grab some garbage bags and clean up the side and rear yards at school. Boy oh Boy, did we enjoy getting out and running around and we still did a really good job picking up all the trash. See the pictures of us on pages 2, 3, & 4.

Yes they did an AONE job today. Way to go RotaKids!
