ARBOR DAY Pg1
JBE celebrated Florida Arbor Day on January 15th. Several other classes joined the four third grade classes for this event. A Gumbo Limbo tree, which is a Florida native tree, was planted with the help of a youngster from each 3rd grade class. The Viking Gardeners under the direction of Jane Mills recited the Conservation pledge and then wowed those present with their knowledge of the Florida state bird, flower, tree, wildflower, & butterfly.
