Today we are having a poster & essay contest. We are making poster about Bullying. Bullying has become a problem in schools and is a bad thing. It causes trouble in our schools. Teachers and students lose classroom time when the teacher must take time to handle a conflict problem between several students. Our RotaKids Pledge says, “... Show Respect to Others.” Showing respect to others makes it difficult to have a fight. We all need to remember to respect others. If you disagree with them and think they are wrong and they may cause trouble. WALK AWAY, It takes courage and bravery and smarts to walk away when you are angry and sure you are right. We try to live by our pledge: As a RotaKid, I promise to be fair to all, to serve my community, and to show respect to others. We are not perfect. We do try to be good members of our community and school.
Anyone can do what we do. Make the pledge to yourself and try (not always easy) to live by it. More at Pictures1 & 2
