Introduction to RotaKids.

WHAT  IS  ROTAKIDS

RotaKids is a program for elementary school children to help build self-esteem and develop leadership qualities.   These youngsters do service projects to benefit the community and the school.      The RotaKids Club at the Jensen Beach  Elementary  School is sponsored by  the Rotary Club of Stuart, Fl.      The concept and beginning  of RotaKids was started  in the year 2000 by Jane Mills

Introduction to Interact

WHAT IS INTERACT

Interact is a program for young people ages 14 to 18 to, high school , & pre-university level to work together in a world wide fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding.  The Interact Club of Jensen Beach High School is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Stuart, Fl.

Then email Rotarian Jane Mills,                                          , to start  a dialogue  with her about starting a RotaKids Club.    Jane founded RotaKids here in Jensen Beach, FL,  in 2000.    She is a retired elementary master teacher after 30 years in the classroom.    Jane is a fountain of knowledge about kids, what works and what doesn’t.     She will help you in every way she can to make your RotaKids Club a success.

Now this is a big deal.    With lots of supervision, which is why we will need 5-6 Rotarians to help, our RotaKids have been deemed matured enough to have a road of their own to keep clean.    Quite a big step forward for and elementary school group.      The first road cleanup will be in May, after the RotaKids Carwash and the District conference.

RotaKids and Parents:   Please mark your calendars.   Beach Cleanup will be Saturday, May 22nd.  We will all meet at the House of Refuge at 0800 hrs and start out at 0815 hrs.    Permission slips will be distributed the first  part of May.    We are looking forward to a fun morning.

THIS SATURDAY:   JBE ROTAKIDS CAR WASH.    STARTS AT 10 AM AND ENDS AT 2 PM.     TRY TO GET THERE AT 9:15-9:30 AM TO HELP SET UP.       A CAR WASH IS $5.00     

IT WILL BE AT  JBE JENSEN BEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
